Cyber Scotland Connect (CSC) was founded to create a holistic, diverse, and judgment-free hub for the Scottish cybersecurity community. Whether you are a student at Abertay, a CISO in Edinburgh, or a career-switcher in Glasgow, CSC is your space to network, share, and grow.

Our mission is simple: to make sure everyone, at every stage of their career, has access to opportunities to connect, learn, and contribute to Scotland’s thriving InfoSec community. We run regular, informal meetups that are strictly sales-free and open to all. From our Open Session events that give new speakers a platform to our large-scale Volume meetups, we’re committed to keeping the Scottish cybersecurity scene passionate, collaborative, and inclusive.

Keeping Cyber Scotland Connect Accessible for All

Cyber Scotland Connect (CSC) remains committed to its founding principle: ensuring that learning, collaboration, and professional networking opportunities in cybersecurity are accessible to everyone.

From students starting their journeys to professionals exploring new career directions, CSC has always been, and will continue to be, free to attend. By removing financial barriers, we enable a diverse and inclusive community where individuals at all stages of their careers can come together to share knowledge and strengthen Scotland’s cyber ecosystem.

To support the sustainability of these events, CSC has launched a Buy Me a Coffee page. Contributions are entirely voluntary and help cover essential running costs that keep our community active and accessible.

Your “coffees” help us cover:

• Refreshments & Networking: Keeping the pizza and drinks flowing at our in-person meetups.

• Infrastructure: Website hosting, Meetup.com platform fees, and digital tools for our members.

All donations are used exclusively to support CSC’s community aims. No individual or organiser receives personal payment, the only benefit is for everyone in our community who gets to attend, connect, and grow within this amazing community.
