Manual Google Calendar Setup

  1. Open Google Calendar in your desktop browser.
  2. In the left sidebar, click the + next to Other calendars.
  3. Select From URL.
  4. Paste either of the .ics feed URLs above and click Add calendar.

Note: Google Calendar caches subscribed feeds and updates them automatically every 8–24 hours.

Discord Server Integration

If you run a cybersecurity Discord server (student society, regional group, company channel), you can auto-broadcast new events:

  1. Invite an RSS bot like MonitoRSS or use Zapier / Make webhooks.
  2. Add our RSS feed URL (https://cyberscotlandconnect.com/feeds/community.xml).
  3. Assign it to your #announcements or #events channel.
  4. Whenever a new gathering is announced, a rich embed is automatically posted.
