The Fragmented Shield
Designed by Sophie Lanc, the mark embodies individuals from across varied cyber security disciplines, sectors, and Scottish regions uniting to forge a stronger collective community.
The intertwining geometry also pays homage to co-founders Harry McLaren and Stu Hirst, who merged two regional Scottish meetups under the single unified Cyber Scotland Connect banner.
Usage & Clearspace Standards
Clearspace Rule
The exclusion zone around the mark must equal at least half the logo's height. Never place text or contrasting graphic elements inside this perimeter.
Minimum Display Size
Minimum height is 24px for standalone icons, and 32px for horizontal lockups with text to ensure legibility across all screen densities.
Background Contrast
Always use the White logo variant on dark purple or high-density backgrounds, and the Full Color variant on white or light surfaces.
